Adding a website shortcut to the Dock on Mac OS X is an easy and quick way to visit your favorite “places” on the web.
Once you add a website shortcut to the Dock on Mac OS X, simply clicking it will launch Safari loaded with your chosen website. Here's how to set that up!
- To add any Website Shortcuts from Safari to the Dock on Mac OS X, first open Safari and visit the website you wish to be added as a shortcut. Once the webpage has loaded, click and hold on the URL link in the URL bar, dragging the URL down to the right-side (not the left one!) of the Dock on the Mac.
- Now, just release the click and it´s done, that website is already added as a shortcut. When you click it, Safari will launch and load that website right away.
- You can do this procedure as many times as you want. That way, you'll have easy access to your favorite web pages.
